Please join us on October 31, Rain or Shine! 10 am – noon in various locations in Issaquah.
Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day is a community volunteer day led by the Downtown Issaquah Association. Neighbors, businesses, and civic partners come together to care for the places that make Issaquah special—through litter cleanup, planting, painting, and hands-on beautification across downtown and nearby areas. In just a few hours, volunteers make a visible difference.

More than a cleanup, the day builds civic pride and a shared sense of ownership. It connects people, supports local partnerships, and reinforces a simple idea: a vibrant, welcoming Issaquah is something we create together.

Instead of Black Friday morning shopping, how about showing your community pride with a holiday weekend litter cleanup instead? You'll be getting out while giving back, having fun while making a difference. Service hours are available for students and we also accept company matching donations for your volunteer hours through portals like Benevity.

All cleanup and safety supplies will be provided, along with coffee and treats from our great local business sponsors. Just dress for the weather and bring your energy and enthusiasm.

Today's cleanup is part of our Adopt-a-Highway commitment, working with WSDOT. Our adopted stretch of highway is the ramp from Coal Creek Parkway to northbound I-405.

We will meet at the given location and walk to the work site. If you are uncomfortable working along the shoulder of the freeway, there are other options on the neighboring streets.
